Herefordshire Food Alliance presents the launch of a series of showings of Six Inches of Soil
Friday 13th September 6-9pm – Conquest Theatre Bromyard
The film follows three farmers on the first year of their regenerative journey to heal the soil and transform the food system from an 11th generation arable and sheep farmer to a small scale market gardener. As the trio of young farmers strive to adopt regenerative practices and create viable businesses, they meet seasoned mentors – John Pawsey in Suffolk, Nic Renison in Cumbria and Marina O’Connell in Devon – who help them on their journey.
Ticket includes a beautiful local river friendly buffet and Q+A with super-local farmers and growers!
We’re so happy to be working with Legges to provide the food, themselves working towards Pasture for Life status for their farm (a great way to show river friendly farming methods) and alliance steering members Wicton Farm for the Q+A. If you are a local producer and interested in being part of the event, please get in touch.
